Jeff walked me around the neighbourhood, and I had a short history lesson of the area.

Half the time I was wandering around the market, while the other I dedicated in helping sell our red jujube tea, the red jujube egg, organic soy milk, and other products. I was confident in my skills in approaching strangers and selling what we had. I stepped out confident, but that was quickly lost, as I was at a loss of words, unable to communicate. Seeing this, the other group members were quick to teach me some important statements that could be used "Ni ke ma? (Are you thirsty?), Hong zhao cha!!(Red jujube tea!!). I tried my best to sell, but people had trouble understanding my pronounciation, so I suggested that I walk around with a poster reading the text to catch people's attention. This made my job easier and with a simple "Ni hao", and a point to my chest, they could see what I was doing. William joined me in front of the sale desk with another sign to draw attention. Together as a team, with people out front and people in the back we managed to successfully sell out the hong zhao cha. This was an interesting experience, selling products to people that speak a complete different language. I feel, starting with that day at the market, I have been able to be more confident in speaking, and have picked up some new words.

I also had the chance to explore the area around Lu Zhunan, where they have various locations for good pictures. One activity they provide is called cyanotype printing.
