This festival is an anniversary big event here in Jiaxian.
All the residents in Jiaxian have prepared for it for a long time.
So many tourists come here to join the big event with the locals that day.
For example, Harry and I help the locals to prepare for the ingredients for the cuisine the day before the festival.
One of the highlights of the festival is the "free" taro rice with bamboo.
The special cuisine mainly contains the local agriculture products is so delicious that it's so popular with the tourists.
There is a big stage gives the local people from different communities a chance to show their performances.
All of the performances are full of happiness and laughter.
There are many stands which sell the local products during the festival.
Like the photo above, the Datian community sells lemons, taro noodles, and many kinds of ginger products.
Another highlights during the event is Tthe "riding police team."
I haven't seen the scene before in my entire life.
I learn from one of the member of the team that the team is not only for sightseeing but also for the safety in crowded places where police car or motorcycles are not available.
They look awesome with the police uniform.
I hope I can ride on a horse someday.
Harry and I both wear uniforms that day during the festival.
Though we are not locals there, it seems that we are part of them then.
As far as I'm concerned, it is everybody enjoys the moment matters the most.
It was such a luck to be engaged in this anniversary event during only one-month stay in Jiaxian.
Harry and I really had a lot of fun during the festival.
